Day 47 - Rainy Day in Fredrikstad

Family dinner

August 7, 2023: Some weather moved into Fredrikstad this week, so we had a rainy Monday. It was nice to have a relaxing day. Jimm and Nina watched soccer while I read and caught up on my blog. Nothing too exciting during the day.

In the evening, we had a family dinner. Nina order Thai food, which she knew we loved. I forgot to take a picture of all the deliciousness, but we absolutely enjoyed every bite. It was our last night in Fredrikstad, so we had to say our goodbyes at the end of the evening, which is always hard for me. Every trip the ties run deeper and I fall more in love with this family, this country and all I have experienced while traveling the last 40 years to this amazing place.
