Goodbye for now Hawaii - Day 27

Well my retirement celebration had to come to an end sometime, and today is the day. After four weeks exploring the islands of Hawaii, we are heading back to the mainland and our Florida home. We took our time getting ready and checking out, wanting to enjoy the view from our hotel suite as long as possible. Then we heading down Ala Moana Blvd and did a little shopping on our way to Tommy Bahama Waikiki Restaurant and Bar. We relaxed there and enjoyed some of our favorite dishes and a cocktail while we reminisced about the trip and what our favorite highlights were overall. Definitely the turtle sightings and manta ray swim were high on the list, but most of all it was getting to spend time with our friends and family that made the time in Hawaii so special. We are even more convinced than ever that we want to do one of our summer roves (most likely 2023) in the state of Hawaii on Maui and Kauai. Now it is time to head back to Florida to settle into a new retirement routine and see how it feels. Feeling blessed!
