Farewell to Matt and Julie - Day 26
We had to bid farewell to Matt and Julie on Saturday, Day 25. We spent the morning and early afternoon out at the Prince Waikiki pool area. Super windy, but still a beautiful sunny day. What we have learned about being in Hawaii for almost a month is that you can count on the sun and the temperature has stayed within a 10 degree range. The weather has been very cooperative! When we had enough sun for the day we headed back to the room for a few more rounds of Sequence and ordered in some food from Karai Crab here in Honolulu since we couldn’t get a reservation. Julie had read that their food was great so we gave it a try. They love their garlic at Karai!! I think we would have enjoyed it more fresh at the restaurant, and we didn’t try the crab, but it was still a very good meal. We had the shrImp, catfish, garlic noodles and corn. Shortly after, we enjoyed our last sunset view from the 28th floor of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you are ever in Waikiki. Matt and Julie finished packing up and we headed to the airport. We had to say our goodbyes, but it was an amazing week and we are so happy they were able to make the trip here for a belated honeymoon. Just 24 hours now before we too have to head back to the mainland. The time has gone by both fast and slow and while we hate to see it end, however we are ready to get back home and will start planning our next adventure for later this summer.
Aloha! Deb
