We were cancelled! - Day 12

We were incredibly disappointed to get a call from our charter company to let us know that our Na Pali Coast Boat Tour was cancelled due to anticipated 12 foot swells! The plan was to go on a personalized tour into the pristine natural environment of the coast with a small group, explore sea caves and snorkel at one of the islands best beaches, Nu’alolo Kai and enjoy a light lunch. Instead, after a long walk in the morning, we spent the day at our resort condo, soaking up the sun by the pool. We made another visit to “Da Crack” Mexican restaurant for their delicious burritos and played several rounds of cards and Farkle. Joe cooked us delicious burgers for dinner that we paired with a salad and a nice bottle of red wine. A pretty uneventful day with almost no photos taken. The great thing about Hawaii is that even when your plans are cancelled, it really doesn’t matter because you are in paradise! 🤙😎
