The Beach House - Day 9

After an exciting day yesterday, today was much more laid back and relaxed. We started the morning with a walk along the beach and then to Starbucks for our favorite drinks. We came back and headed to the pool for afternoon. It was a perfect day…sunny and just the right temperature. We read our books and cooled off in the pool as needed. There were a few games of 5 Crowns played and then we headed to The Beach House for dinner. What a gorgeous venue! The restaurant sits right on the beach and is on my “must do” list if you are coming to Kauai. This was Joe and Cheryl’s recommendation as they had been here a few times before on previous trips. You definitely want to make your reservation about a half hour before sun down. The guys took advantage of the steak and lobster special, I had the filet mignon sans lobster and Cheryl opted for a salad. The food was delicious, but it is definitely the view that makes this restaurant so special. We may be back later this week and will definitely come back next time we are in Hawaii!
